When I started experimenting with photography in 2008, I had no clue what was in store for me long term. I had just purchased my first camera and decided to help out some friends who needed event photos. One year later, I was asked by a friend to assist at a wedding and I reluctantly said yes. Wedding photography was actually the last thing I ever wanted to do, but after shooting my first few weddings, I realized that I loved it! I found great fulfillment in helping couples re-live the most exhilarating day of their lives through the work I created. I soon decided to devote all of my efforts towards learning the art and craft of wedding photography. Through research, learning on-the-go, and constant practice, I eventually became a professional wedding photographer and discovered a passion that I never really set out to find.

Photography has been an incredible journey so far. I am grateful to have worked in so many different places doing what I love, and even more than that, I appreciate each and every couple who trusts me to capture their most important moments. That trust inspires me to continuously aim for the perfect balance between creative expression and honest documentation. I am truly passionate about what I do, and I hope to work with many more amazing couples who want to create great work together. My current home is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, however I'm excited to go wherever is necessary. If my style does appeal to you, please get in touch. I'd be happy to meet you!

ABOUT craig

Kelsey and Charlie's story started in college at Purdue University, the same location they decided to do their engagement session. I had a blast capturing their engagement photos, and it was no different when their wedding day finally came around. We started out at Kelsey's home church, in Southeastern Indianapolis for the ceremony, before heading to a separate photo location at Coxhall Gardens. Their reception was hosted at the beautiful Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana, which was absolutely stunning. You can't go wrong with a glass enclosed all-white garden pavilion! The entire day was filled with so much emotion, laughter and tears - it reminded me of why I love doing my job. Congratulations to Kelsey and Charlie!

I knew Stephanie and Ron were going to be an amazing couple to work with the moment they showed up to their sunrise engagement session, dressed in boots, and ready to take on the freezing weather. They had absolutely no problem warming up in front of the camera and simply enjoying the moment. Their approach was no different on their wedding day, and it truly paid off. What I admired most was that their wedding truly encompassed both of their styles and personalities. From the elegant decor, rustic venue, intimate setting, breathtaking backdrops, and lively celebration, it was apparent that each element was special to them. I hope you’re able to relive each moment of this incredible day through the images we captured. It was such an honor to be a part of this! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Reese!

I met up with this incredible couple just before sunset at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. They had such a genuine connection and no problem getting each other to smile. I often feel like I’ve made new friends after an engagement session and this one was no different. I’m excited to be a part of their big day in July!
